We are a small operation with one aircraft, and the weather gets a vote in everything we do. So here is exactly how bookings, date changes, cancellations and refunds work, in plain English. Nothing on this page takes away any right you have under UK law.

The short version

Need a different date? Free, with at least 7 days' notice.
Can't fly at all? We convert your booking into an open-dated voucher, valid 12 months and fully transferable. Use it later, or give it to family or a friend as a gift.
Bought online and changed your mind? Open-dated purchases can be cancelled for a full refund within 14 days. That is the law, and we honour it without fuss.
We cancel on you (weather, aircraft)? You rebook at no charge, with priority on dates. As many times as it takes.

Your 14-day cooling-off period

When you buy from us at a distance (online, by email or by phone), the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you a cooling-off period. How it applies depends on what you bought:

Gift vouchers and open-dated bookings. You can cancel within 14 days of payment for a full refund, no reason needed, as long as the flight has not been flown. Email us and we will refund you to the original payment method within 14 days.
Bookings for a specific date. The Regulations (regulation 28(1)(h)) exempt leisure activities booked for a specific date from the 14-day cancellation right, so the cooling-off period does not apply once your flight date is fixed. Everything below is what we offer instead, and we think it is fair.

Changing your date

Plans move. Give us at least 7 full days' notice and we will move your flight to another date free of charge.

With less than 7 days' notice we will try to fill your slot. If we can, you move for free. If we cannot, the booking is treated as used: a one-aircraft operation cannot resell an empty seat on the morning. If you know you cannot make it, tell us the moment you do; the earlier we know, the more we can do.

If you simply do not turn up, the booking is used and no refund or voucher is due.

Changed your mind, or can't fly?

Outside the 14-day cooling-off period we do not offer cash refunds for a change of heart. What we offer instead is better than losing your money: we will convert your booking into an open-dated voucher, valid for 12 months and fully transferable. Hold on to it for a better time of year, or pass it to family or a friend; a name change costs nothing, just tell us who is flying.

The same applies if you are unable to fly for medical reasons: the flight does not have to be wasted, because someone you love can take it instead.

When we cancel

Aerobatics needs decent weather, and we will not fly a sortie that is not safe and enjoyable. If we cancel your flight, for weather, daylight or aircraft serviceability, we rebook you at no charge with priority on new dates, as many times as it takes. A weather rebooking is a postponement rather than a cancellation, so it does not attract a refund.

If we ever become permanently unable to provide your flight, or cannot offer you a reasonable new date within 12 months of your original one, we will refund you in full.

Gift vouchers

Valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Fully transferable at any time: email us the new name and the voucher becomes theirs.
Not exchangeable for cash, except within the 14-day cooling-off period above or where the law requires it.
Once a voucher is booked onto a specific date, the date-change rules above apply.
If life gets in the way, ask us about an extension before the voucher expires. We are human about it.

Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we must perform your flight with reasonable care and skill. If we fall short of that, you are entitled to the remedies the law provides, including a price reduction or refund where applicable. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces those rights, your cooling-off rights above, or any other right you have under UK law.

How to cancel or change a booking

Email loop@infinityaerobatics.com with your name and booking reference, or WhatsApp us on 020 8798 0780. To cancel within the cooling-off period, a clear statement that you wish to cancel is all we need. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation.
